How to add a Cookie Banner on HubSpot website

Welcome to CookieYes! This guide will walk you through installing a cookie banner on your HubSpot website. A cookie banner will help your website comply with privacy laws like the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. 

  1. To begin with, Sign up on CookieYes for free
  2. Then, complete the steps in How to create a cookie banner

If you have already signed up for CookieYes without taking any action on the initial setup screens, head to the CookieYes Dashboard. 

  • To customize the cookie banner, select the Cookie Banner from the top navigation panel.
  • To get the banner installation code, head to Advanced Settings and click on the Get Installation Code button on the right side of the URL. 
  • Now click on the Copy code button to get the CookieYes installation code.

Note: You can share the code with a developer or your team by clicking on the Send code to a teammate button. Enter the email address and then click on Send email. The recipient will get the code and instructions via email.

Steps to add cookie consent banner on HubSpot website

Step 1: Log in to your HubSpot account. Click on the Settings icon located in the main navigation bar at the top of the screen.

Step 2: In the left sidebar menu, scroll down to Tools and click Content > Pages.

Step 3: In the Pages section, open the Choose a domain to edit its settings dropdown menu and select a domain for which you want to integrate CookieYes. [if you want to apply the same code to all HubSpot-hosted content, choose Default settings for all domains.]

Step 4: After selecting the domain, navigate to the Templates tab. Locate the Site header HTML field and paste the CookieYes script into the Site header HTML field.

Step 5: Click on the Save button to apply the changes.

Step 6: Head back to the setup screen and click on the Verify button. You will see a success message: “CookieYes is installed on your site!”.

Now you will see the new cookie consent banner on your HubSpot website. From the CookieYes Dashboard, you can complete the website scanning and explore additional customizations and features.
