How to Add a Privacy Policy on Weebly

This guide will walk you through how you can generate a custom privacy policy for your Weebly website in minutes. A privacy policy page is legally required and will also help your website stay compliant with privacy laws like the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive.

Step 7. Hit Generate to create your custom privacy policy. 

Step 8. You can see the Privacy Policy Preview and select Copy text or Copy html to copy the privacy policy.

Step 1. In your Weebly account, open your site editor by clicking Edit Site.

Step 2. In the editor, select Pages in the top menu and then click the + icon.

Step 3. Now click on the Standard Page to add a new page.

Step 4. Add your Page Name as ‘Privacy Policy’ and then click on Done.

Step 5. Now select Build from the top menu, then drag and drop Title and Text in your newly created page.

Step 6. Then add ‘Privacy Policy’ in the title box and paste the copied privacy policy in the text box and then click on Publish.

Your privacy policy page will be live on your Weebly website. You can then link your privacy policy to your website footer.
