Therefore, the cookies are also subject to GDPR if the website’s activities meet the criteria of the GDPR scope.
GDPR cookie consent is necessary for a website falling under the scope of the GDPR to comply with it. According to the Regulation, consent must be freely given, informed, specific, and unambiguous.
