# What is geotargeting?
Geotargeting is a feature that helps you display a consent banner as per the user’s location. As GDPR and US state laws have different regulations, CookieYes gives you the possibility to display the two different banners based on the user’s location. So you can set two different banners at the same time and geo-target one for the EU and UK and another for California or the US.
