Troubleshooting Guide – Unable to reach your web app account at this moment

The error ‘Unable to reach your web app account at this moment‘ while using the CookieYes WordPress plugin might occur due to the following reasons:

  • Internet connectivity issues
  • Browser incompatibility
  • Blocked WordPress REST APIs
  • Conflicts with other plugins
  • Issues with Current WordPress Theme

Troubleshooting Methods

Here are some methods you can try to fix the issue. 

1. Check your Internet connection

Ensure that your internet connection is stable and functioning correctly. Try to connect to another network and check if the CookieYes plugin page loads correctly.

2. Switch browsers

Access your plugin page using a different browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.

3. Clear browser cache

Clear your browser cache and reload the plugin page.

4. Deactivate other plugins

The error may be caused by other plugins on your WordPress website blocking the REST APIs. To check if other plugins are preventing access to the CookieYes web app, follow these steps:

  • Disable all plugins except CookieYes and attempt to access the plugin page again.
  • Install a troubleshooting plugin to identify any issues. Once activated, try accessing the plugin page.

5. Change Theme

The theme you are using might not be fully compatible with the CookieYes plugin. Try switching to a different theme or the default WordPress theme and reload the page.

For Existing WebApp connected Users

If this error occurs after you’ve already connected to CookieYes and then deleted the account/website from the Web App, try the following steps to resolve it:

  1. Navigate to Site Settings from the plugin page.
  2. Disconnect the Web App from the CookieYes plugin.


  3. Reconnect to Web App to your existing account.
